
Rock for Life’s Ninth Annual Training and Activism Week
Theme: “Personhood Now”
Rock for Life is now accepting registrations for the 2009 Training and Activism Week and Personhood Conference. This year’s event takes place January 21-23 and includes:
* Marching with hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers at the 36th annual March for Life
* Meeting and networking with young pro-lifers from all over the country
* Training given by experienced, successful veteran pro-lifers
* Possible meeting with your member of Congress or his or her staff
* Hitting the streets of D.C. to spread the pro-life message
* Praying at Planned Parenthood
* Music, praise and worship
* Special-event hoodie

Most events are free and open to the public. Donations will be requested at the door to cover costs
for the pizza party and concert.
Need a place to stay in Washington, D.C.? We have reserved rooms just for you! BUT HURRY! Rooms are filling up fast.
The cost to stay with us at the Liaison Hotel is only $50 per night per person (two- or three-night stay). Too good to be true? Not really! We assign four persons to a room, to keep the costs down. (Please note: Rooms at the Liaison Hotel are no longer available at the special TAW09 rate as of Saturday night, so plan and make reservations at your own risk if you wish to stay beyond Friday night.)

Wednesday, January 21
Morning activities:
Morning prayer, worship, pro-life visibility and memorial walk to and from the following locations:
o 9 a.m. – Planned Parenthood on 16th St. in Washington, D.C.
o 10:15 a.m. – White House
o 11:30 a.m. – U.S. Supreme Court
Afternoon activities:
(Afternoon sessions begin at 1:00 p.m.)
Rock for Life training session – with Phil Eddy, director of Rock for Life’s Chapter and Street Team programs; and Marie Hahnenberg, researcher for American Life League and director of ALL’s Map Room
International Pro-Life Panel
Pro-life blogging – with Jill Stanek, renowned pro-life activist/blogger and former registered nurse
Evening activities:
7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Praise and worship, Youth Rally (Erik Whittington, Director of Rock for Life to emcee)
9:00 p.m. – midnight – Rock for Life concert and pizza party (Erik Whittington to emcee)
Thursday, January 22
Morning activities:
Congressional education (time TBD soon) – with Johanna Dasteel, senior congressional liaison for ALL; and Michael Barnett, leadership development director for ALL (Click here if you would like American Life League to arrange a meeting for you with your member of Congress or a member of his/her staff while you are in Washington, D.C. for TAW.)
11:00 a.m. – Join hundreds of thousands at the 36th annual March for Life.
Afternoon activities:
4:00 p.m. – Pro-life visibility at NOW vigil and prayer support for Silent No More speak-out
Evening activities:
7:00 – 10:00 p.m. – Rock for Life concert (Erik Whittington to emcee)
Friday, January 23
Morning activities:
Presentations by various speakers (morning sessions begin at 8:45)
Afternoon activities:
Presentations by various speakers (times TBD soon)

Students for Life of America Annual Conference – ALL DAY. Kristan Hawkins, director of Students for Life of America, has generously granted free admission for Rock for Lifers who participate in TAW09. (Please note that food is not provided and seating is limited to sessions that aren’t filled up.)
